Our Fees & Terms
By proceeding with the plumbing request you agree to the fees and terms outlined below.
Service Fee
Labour – Senior Tradesman (hourly rate) $115.00 + GST
Labour – Junior Tradesman (hourly rate) $105.00 + GST
Labour – Senior Apprentice (hourly rate) $65.00 + GST
Labour – Junior Apprentice (hourly rate) $50.00 + GST
Sewer Jetter Machine Fee $220.00 + GST
Add on - Drain Camera Fee $200.00 + GST
All prices exclude GST, which will be itemised on your invoice. No call out Fee. Minimum charge is 1.5 hours. Labour is charged separately at applicable hourly rates for Sewer Jetter and Drain Camera services.
For larger projects: A detailed scope of works will be outlined before any work commences, including fees for a Qualified Senior Plumber and an Apprentice Plumber. A deposit (typically 20–30%) is required for larger project bookings prior to work commencing.
Terms & Conditions
This plumbing services agreement is between the Client and Kookaplumba (ABN: 26636064554).
All work shall be performed in accordance with relevant state and national legislation and the Australian Plumbing Standard AS/NZS 3500.
Payment: The Client agrees to make full payment of the invoiced amount within 3 days of the project's completion. For projects running longer than one week, progress invoices will be issued at the end of each week and are payable within 3 days of issue.
Warranties: Kookaplumba shall perform all plumbing work in a professional and workmanlike manner. Warranties on materials and fixtures supplied by Kookaplumba are covered by the respective manufacturer. Kookaplumba will manage valid warranty claims on the Client's behalf for any materials we supply. No warranty is provided by Kookaplumba for client-supplied materials or fixtures, which remain the Client's responsibility.
Damage & Disputes: Kookaplumba shall not be held liable for loss or damage beyond its reasonable control, and shall not be liable for damages exceeding the total price paid by the Client as documented in the agreed scope of works or confirmed job booking. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith before pursuing formal action.
Materials: The Client acknowledges that work delays may occur should required materials or fixtures not be immediately available.
Quotations: Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Where unforeseen work is identified during a job (e.g. concealed defects, additional compliance requirements), Kookaplumba will notify the Client before proceeding. Any variations to the original scope will be agreed in writing and charged accordingly.
Access & Site conditions: The Client is responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to the work site. If access is not available at the agreed time, a cancellation or re-attendance fee may apply. Kookaplumba reserves the right to cease work if site conditions are deemed unsafe. The Client agrees to remove or otherwise protect any personal belongings in and around the working area prior to work commencing.
Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee. For larger projects where materials have already been ordered, the Client may be liable for reasonable material and restocking costs.
Photographs: Kookaplumba may take photographs of work completed for documentation, compliance, and promotional purposes. If the Client does not wish for images to be used publicly, please advise Kookaplumba prior to work commencing.
Privacy: Client information is collected and used solely for the purposes of delivering our services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
